Job summary

Evera Recruitment Ltd seeks a Low Voltage Battery Engineer to support inspection, testing and safe processing of lithium-ion battery systems. The role involves hands-on engineering across diagnostics, maintenance, disassembly and technical operations on-site and at customer locations.

You will test and diagnose batteries, modules and BMS components, perform fault-finding and assist with disassembly and maintenance, while keeping precise records of all work performed.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical/battery/engineering role.
• Good understanding of low-voltage DC systems and components.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Test, inspect and diagnose lithium-ion batteries, modules and electrical systems.
• Carry out electrical fault-finding, troubleshooting and repair activities.
• Support battery pack and module disassembly following safety procedures.
• Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on battery-related equipment.
• Assist with BMS diagnostics and assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of testing, repairs and work completed.
