GM Performance Power Units in Concord, NC is seeking a Battery Controls Engineer to join the ERS Team. You will develop and optimize embedded controls software for the HV battery management system, implementing real-time control algorithms for protection, state of charge, and state of health.

Responsibilities include coding in C/C++, MiL/SiL/HiL verification, software diagnostics, and collaboration with controls and hardware teams to deliver a robust, standards-compliant battery control solution

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or experience in embedded software for automotive/motorsport.
• Experience in battery management system development and software for HV batteries.
• Strong C/C++ with real-time constraints and signal processing basics.

Responsabilités

• Develop, test, and maintain embedded software for HV battery management systems.
• Implement real-time control algorithms for protection, SOC, and SOH.
• Collaborate with controls and hardware teams across MiL/SiL/HiL testing and trackside support.
