About The Peligoni Club

The Peligoni Club is a family‑run members club on the beautiful island of Zakynthos, Greece. Each summer, we bring together a vibrant team of talented, energetic, and passionate people who create unforgettable holidays for our guests. Our café is one of the first areas to open each morning — the go‑to spot for early‑risers, water‑skiers and cyclists looking for great coffee, smoothies and fresh juices before the day begins. As the club comes to life, the café becomes a buzzing hub where guests stop for everything from breakfast pastries to afternoon milkshakes and homemade cakes. It’s a lively, friendly space that sets the tone for the rest of the day.

About the Role

We’re looking for energetic and dedicated Baristas to join our team this summer. You’ll be serving high‑quality coffees, smoothies and fresh juices while creating the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes our café such an important part of the Peligoni experience.

This role is perfect for early birds with a ‘get up and go’ personality — people who enjoy fast‑paced service, take pride in great coffee‑making, and love connecting with guests throughout the day. You’ll be part of a supportive team delivering consistent quality during the café’s busiest moments and helping shape the start of each guest’s day.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and ensure they are well looked after.
• Prepare a variety of drinks including coffees, smoothies and fresh juices.
• Ensure all drinks are made efficiently, consistently and to Peligoni standards.
• Maintain a high level of service at all times.
• Restock and replenish supplies throughout the day.
• Clear tables, collect and clean glasses, and keep guest areas tidy and inviting.
• Maintain excellent hygiene and cleanliness both front and back of house.
• Offer recommendations and guidance on the drinks menu.
• Support the bar dispense section when needed.
• Assist other F&B areas to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Build friendly, genuine relationships with guests and chat confidently about the club.
• Take on additional duties when needed for the smooth running of the café and wider club.

About You

• Highly organised, proactive and quick to respond to busy service periods.
• A strong communicator with great interpersonal skills.
• Calm under pressure and able to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• A strong team player but also able to work independently when required.
• Flexible and adaptable - ready to embrace the rhythm of a summer season.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a busy café environment.
• Proven barista experience with strong coffee knowledge.
• Previous experience with EPOS till systems.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (required).
• EU passport holder.
