Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Barback to support the bar and floor teams, ensuring bartenders have everything they need to deliver fast, high-quality service to our members and guests.

You will deliver drinks from the bar to members’ tables, assist during service, restock ingredients, and maintain a spotless work environment. Regular meetings and collaboration with front and back of house teams are expected.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
• Hospitable, approachable and passionate about customer service.
• Able to work flexible shifts including weekends.
• Able to take direction and work in a team or autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Bring drinks quickly from the bar to its location in the restaurant and deliver to members.
• Maintain a spotless, pristine work environment.
• Provide service to and be accountable for an assigned section.
• Develop relationships with members to provide personalized service.
• Polish glassware and ensure readiness for service.
• Assist bartenders during service by restocking ingredients and retrieving supplies.
• Perform opening and closing procedures for stations.
• Attend regular meetings with front and back of house teams.
• Support bar staff with stock rotation and hygiene standards.
