Job summary

Soho House in London is seeking a Barback to support the bar team, ensuring bartenders have everything they need to deliver fast, high-quality service to our members and guests.

You will deliver drinks from the bar to tables, help with opening and closing duties, restock ingredients, and maintain a spotless, well-organised workstation.

This role offers weekly pay, team perks, and opportunities to develop through training and events as part of our network.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in a similar capacity.
• Basic understanding of bar operations, hygiene standards and stock rotation.
• Hospitable, approachable and customer-focused; respectful to colleagues and guests.
• Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver drinks quickly from the bar to its respective location.
• Maintain a spotless, pristine work environment.
• Provide service to and be accountable for an assigned section.
• Develop relationships with members to provide personalised service.
• Polish glassware to ensure readiness for service.
• Assist bartenders during service by restocking ingredients, running drinks and retrieving supplies.
• Open and close procedures including set up and break down of stations.
• Handle service equipment carefully and store correctly.
• Attend regular meetings with front and back of house teams.
