Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Barback to support the bar team in delivering fast, high‑quality service to our members and guests in London.

You will deliver drinks from the bar to tables, restock ingredients, polish glassware, and maintain a clean, organized workspace while building relationships with members.

The role includes weekly pay, team meals, Soho Friends Membership, staff discounts, health/dental plans, and ongoing training through Cookhouse & House Tonic.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience in similar capacity.
• Basic understanding of bar operations, hygiene standards, and stock rotation.
• Hospitable, approachable and customer-service oriented.
• Flexible shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to follow directions and work in a team or autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Bring drinks quickly from the bar to members' locations.
• Maintain a spotless, pristine work environment.
• Provide service to and be accountable for an assigned section.
• Develop relationships with members for personalized service.
• Polish glassware and ensure readiness for service.
• Assist bartenders by restocking ingredients and running drinks.
• Perform opening and closing procedures including setup and breakdown of stations.
• Handle service equipment carefully and store properly.
• Attend regular meetings to learn menu changes and participate in tastings.
