Job summary

Soho House & Co. at 40 Greek Street in Central London is seeking a Barback to support the bar team and ensure fast, high‑quality service for members and guests.

You will deliver drinks from the bar to tables, assist bartenders, restock ingredients, polish glassware, keep the area spotless, and participate in opening/closing routines and team tastings. Candidates should have 2-3 years’ experience, be hospitable, and work flexibly.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Basic understanding of bar operations, hygiene standards and stock rotation.
• Hospitable, approachable and passionate about customer service.
• Competency as outlined in the training schedule and Club School.
• Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to take direction, work in a team environment and autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Bring drinks quickly from the bar to its respective location in the restaurants.
• Deliver to members and maintain a spotless, pristine work environment.
• Provide service to an assigned section and develop relationships with members.
• Polish glassware and ensure readiness for service.
• Assist bartenders during service by restocking ingredients and retrieving supplies.
• Perform opening and closing procedures for stations.
• Handle equipment carefully and store correctly.
• Attend regular front/back of house meetings and learn menu changes.
