Job summary

Loungers is hiring Front of House Team Members for Alento Lounge, a casual cafe bar. You’ll join a friendly team delivering warm hospitality, serving food and drinks, and ensuring every guest leaves happy.

No experience is required—training is provided. This on-site role offers flexible hours, staff meals, and staff discounts from day one, with tips shared among the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or retail is a bonus but not essential.
• You’ll read customers and adapt your style for different occasions.
• Bright, friendly personality with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with warm, genuine hospitality.
• Serve food to high standards and ensure accuracy of orders.
• Prepare and serve drinks to spec, including coffees and cocktails.
• Keep the bar stocked, clean, and well organised throughout shifts.

We're hiring Front of House Team Members to join Alento Lounge, a local café bar. Part of Loungers, proudly named Casual Dining Group of the Year 2026. Offering up to £12.71/hr + tips, paid breaks, staff food every shift, and 50% off food & drinks, this a great next step for a waiter, waitress, barista, bartender, and more. As part of our Bar & Waiting team, you’ll be the sort of person who can read each customer effortlessly, adapting your style whether it's a quiet solo coffee or a table full of birthday cocktails. What You’ll Do

• Welcoming customers and delivering warm, genuine hospitality from the moment they walk in
• Serving food to a high standard, making sure every dish lands just right
• Preparing and serving drinks to spec — coffees, cocktails, and everything in between
• Keeping the bar prepped, stocked, and clean throughout every shift
• Handling payments accurately and answering customer queries, including allergen questions, with confidence
