Job summary

Hanley Mortgage Services Ltd. is seeking a Customer Service Advisor for a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract (35 hours per week). You will provide accurate counter service, handle cash and non‑cash transactions, and support in-branch operations with a focus on customer outcomes.

You will work within a team to deliver compliant, high-quality service, open savings or investments where appropriate, and respond to customer inquiries with clarity and professionalism in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• CeMAP or willingness to study for CeMAP.
• Experience in customer service.
• GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above.
• Flexible attitude with a professional demeanor.
• Demonstrates initiative and good numerical ability.

Responsibilities

• Process cash and non‑cash transactions accurately and balance tills.
• Deliver a friendly counter service for banking needs.
• Open accounts and handle customer information in a compliant manner.
• Assist with basic admin tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Support colleagues and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Contribute to safe, secure branch operations and GDPR compliance.
