Community Integrated Care is seeking 2 Bank Support Workers to join a warm, welcoming team supporting an adult with Autism and Learning Disabilities. You will help with daily living, promote choices, wellbeing and independence, and work across day and night shifts.

Job description

This an exciting opportunity for caring, compassionate and talented Support Workers to work within a well-established service, supporting 1 gentleman. This service will be supporting them with daily living, whilst also promoting their choices, wellbeing and independence.

The person supported here has Autism and Learning Disabilities and has support 24 hours per day, but they also love visiting the local community - especially getting out and about and to charity shops They would like their staff team to be quieter but with a dry, sarcastic sense of humour. At this service there are a core staff team on shift at any one time - these include day shifts and also nights too.

We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role, will have professional experience.
