Job summary

Community Integrated Care is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to help six individuals live as independently as possible. You will provide personal care, support with meals, budgeting and daily activities while building meaningful connections in a supportive team.

The role offers guaranteed shifts and ongoing training, with a focus on wellbeing and community integration. Equal opportunities employer and DBS checks are provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Experience with behaviour that challenges is a big bonus.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care or autism is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Working closely with the Service Leader and the Support Worker team, you will be responsible for 6 individuals with various different needs

We support adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and mental health concerns to live life to the fullest — as independently as possible.

Our Shifts:

Shifts are generally between the hours of 7.30 am and 22.00 the Saturday is generally a 10-00am to 22.00pm shift

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be supporting 6 individuals to live their daily life in the way they wants to live it. This means you will provide support in a wide variety of ways, including:

• Supporting with personal care
• Medication Administration
• Home management, including support with cooking, cleaning, shopping and budget management
• Daily activities - anything and everything the person we support like to do is something you might provide support with! So come ready and willing to put yourself out there and try some new things
