Job summary

Community Integrated Care is seeking Bank Workers to provide compassionate support to people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs or dementia in Fochabers. The role involves assisting with daily routines, activities and overall wellbeing, with some weekend and overnight availability required.

We offer competitive hourly pay, 28 days leave pro-rata for part-timers, a pension scheme, no uniform, and ongoing development opportunities within a supportive team environment.

As a Support Worker you will support people who have learning disabilities, autism, mental health concerns or dementia with their daily routines to live the best lives possible.

In our Fochabers service, we support 4 gentlemen with Learning Disabilities and Autism who live in their own homes. We are a strong team that work well together and support one another, supporting with lots of activities such as concerts and holidays, day trips, meeting friends and family's and attending various clubs, we require you to be committed, reliable and flexible. The people we support are involved in activities such as bowling, swimming, golf and cinema and there is a need for availability for some evening and weekend work.

We provide support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so some weekend and overnight support will be required. We are currently recruiting for Bank Workers. We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role, will have professional experience. This is why we're really passionate about recruiting to individuals’ values and we recruit people from all walks of life; From people with vast experience in a support worker or care assistant role, from people with lived experiences who may have friends or relatives with disabilities or have looked after older relatives, to people with no experience at all.
