Community Integrated Care in Huddersfield seeks caring staff for a 50-self contained Extra Care scheme in Ash Brow, HD2. You'll provide personal care, help with meals, assist with medications, and support residents with mobility and wellbeing.
Shift options include early to late patterns; DBS is paid. We value inclusion, development, and community engagement within a supportive, award-winning charity.
Who you'll be supporting & more about the role:
Based in Ash Brow, HD2. The service has its own garden spaces for the people we support to engage socially together and get some quiet outside their homes. The service has a large driveway to reach the main entrance with parking on site for staff, residents and visitors. Staff are on site 24 hours to provide support where needed and in emergency situations. What is important to us + We will want people who support us to be as independent as possible within our homes and promote social inclusion. + We will want people who can get to know us and have similar interests to get us more involved within our local and wider community. We are keen to hear from local people who have an interest in supporting this local community initiative in delivering positive outcomes to the tenants. Shift times could be 6.30am to 2.00pm, 7.00am to 3.00pm, 8.00am to 3.00pm, 2.00pm to 10.00pm or a full long day. Full Rota flexibility is required for this position.
