Trenewydd, Brecon, is a Shaw Healthcare service. We are seeking a passionate Support Worker to provide person-centred care to residents in a 35-bed home. This bank, zero-hour contract offers flexible shift times and the opportunity to make a positive impact in a welcoming community.

No prior experience required; we value values and behaviours. Full training and ongoing support are provided, with development opportunities through NVQ qualifications and our Leadership Programme.

Trenewydd is a 35 bed care home designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for its residents with features such as easily accessible gardens and shared spaces that are designed to be both stimulating and calming. Situated in the friendly residential suburb of Llanfaes, near Brecon and close to local amenities, the purpose-built home works hard to create a welcoming and homely atmosphere where residents can access any of the three lounges to share time with friends and family.

Job Responsibilities

As a Support Worker you will be responsible for promoting physical and emotional support to our lovely service users. The will include, but not limited to:

• Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents

• Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting your colleagues in day-to-day duties
• Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment
