Shaw healthcare is seeking a caring and reliable Support Worker for Plas Cae Crwn Care Home. The role involves promoting physical and emotional support to residents, with training provided.

Full training and ongoing development opportunities are offered as part of a flexible, bank contract to cover as/when required in the service. You’ll work as part of a supportive team to deliver person-centred care, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, comfortable home for residents.

Job Responsibilities

As a Support Worker you will be responsible for promoting physical and emotional support to our lovely service users. The will include, but not limited to:

• Providing person-centred care in line with an individual’s care plan
• Offering personal care, which includes assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene
• Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents
• Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion
• Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting your colleagues in day-to-day duties
• Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment
