Job summary

Shaw healthcare is seeking a caring and reliable Support Worker for Plas Cae Crwn Care Home. The role involves promoting physical and emotional support to residents, with training provided.

Full training and ongoing development opportunities are offered as part of a flexible, bank contract to cover as/when required in the service. You’ll work as part of a supportive team to deliver person-centred care, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, comfortable home for residents.

Qualifications

• No previous formal care experience required; values and compassionate approach matter most.
• Willingness to learn and follow training and care plans.
• Ability to work as part of a supportive team to deliver person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care in line with individual care plans.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing and hygiene.
• Maintain accurate records of care delivered and resident wellbeing.
• Support independence, dignity, and inclusion; promote a safe and happy environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day care.
