Optegra Eye Healthcare in Wetherby is hiring a Bank Scrub Nurse to join the theatre team at our Eye Hospital. You will cover perioperative nursing tasks, pre and post-operative care and diagnostics with a multidisciplinary team.

The role offers shifts across York and Bradford, with pay up to £32 per hour depending on experience. Must be flexible to cover shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)
• Current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions
• At least 1 year of theatre experience
• Experience in private and operating theatre settings

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality ophthalmic nursing care within theatre and perioperative settings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support diagnostics, pre-assessment and post-operative care

The Role

As part of a multi-disciplinary team with an emphasis on quality patient care, you will provide the highest standards of care to our patients. You’ll work alongside clinical colleagues and optometrists delivering diagnostics, pre assessment and post operative ophthalmic care and treatment.

What You’ll Need

• Be a Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner
• Have a current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions
• Previous experience in an Theatre, minimum of one year
• Have knowledge in private and operation settings.
