Job summary

Optegra in Nottingham is seeking a Bank Scrub Nurse to join our friendly team at the Nottingham Eye Hospital. This is a zero-hour contract offering flexible shifts and a supportive environment.

You will work with clinical colleagues and optometrists to deliver diagnostics, pre-assessment and post-operative ophthalmic care. Candidates must be a Registered General Nurse or an Operating Department Practitioner with current NMC/ODP registration and at least one year of theatre experience, including

Qualifications

• Be a Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner.
• Have a current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions.
• Previous theatre experience of at least one year.
• Knowledge of private and operation settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostics, pre-assessment and post-operative ophthalmic care.
• Work alongside clinical colleagues and optometrists delivering ophthalmic care.

The Role

As part of a multi-disciplinary team with an emphasis on quality patient care, you will provide the highest standards of care to our patients. You’ll work alongside clinical colleagues and optometrists delivering diagnostics, pre assessment and post operative ophthalmic care and treatment.

What You’ll Need

• Be a Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner
• Have a current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions
• Previous experience in an Theatre, minimum of one year
• Have knowledge in private and operation settings.
