A leading healthcare provider in Redhill is seeking a candidate for a role focused on monitoring patient length of stay in the Emergency Department. The post holder will work with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient flow and provide administrative support to the Nurse in Charge. The ideal candidate will have essential experience and a good standard of written English. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to effective healthcare services in a supportive environment.
Responsible for monitoring patient length of stay in the Emergency Department (ED), working with the multidisciplinary teams to minimise breaches of the national target, assisting departmental staff to facilitate patient movement through the department, liaising with the site team and clinical staff in other parts of the hospital to facilitate patient flow.
To support to the Nurse in Charge (NIC)/ Majors coordinator (MC) by providing general administrative support. The post holder will contribute to the efficient and effective running of the ED resulting in a significant reduction in patient journey times.
