Job summary

Agincare Weymouth is hiring a Night Senior Care Assistant for Agincourt care home in Weymouth. You will lead a caring, compassionate team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care that makes residents feel at home. This role emphasises dignity, independence, and safe medication administration.

You’ll support and guide colleagues during 8pm–8am shifts, develop and review care plans, and create a warm, engaging environment with meaningful activities for residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months’ right to work in the UK.
• Level 2 Health & Social Care (or working towards Level 3).
• Flexibility to work night and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and lead high-quality, person-centred care.
• Support residents with personal care, dignity and independence.
• Administer medication safely and accurately.
• Contribute to and review care plans.
• Lead activities, outings and meaningful engagement.
• Support and guide team members, stepping up when needed.

We’re looking for:

• Minimum 12 months’ right to work in the UK
• Level 2 Health & Social Care (or working towards Level 3)
• Bank Night Senior Care Assistant role, for this role you must have the flexibility to work night and weekend shifts as and when required
• Night shifts are from 8pm to 8am
• A caring, confident team player with leadership qualities

Your role:
