Job summary

CYGNET is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for Cygnet Kewstoke to assist in preparing balanced meals and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen.

You will join a team at a site providing emergency admissions for men and women and pathways to rehabilitation, with a focus on high hygiene and COSHH compliance. DBS check will be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the team in providing balanced, appetising meals.
• Perform basic food preparation, cooking tasks & other kitchen duties.
• Wash utensils, dishes and store them appropriately.
• Sort, store & distribute ingredients; check deliveries; assist stock ordering.
• Maintain personal hygiene and keep the kitchen clean and hygienic.
• Handle and store kitchen equipment; follow COSHH regulations.
