Cygnet Hospital Oldbury is seeking a Bank Kitchen Assistant to support our catering service. You will help prepare meals, handle basic food prep, and keep the kitchen clean and compliant with safety standards.

Flexible bank shifts offer opportunity to fit around your schedule. A DBS check is required; benefits include a free meal on shift and pension details provided by the employer.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering, preferably in a care setting.
• Able to work under supervision and maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Awareness of COSHH regulations and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist the team in providing balanced, appetising meals.
• Perform basic food preparation and cooking tasks.
• Wash utensils and store them properly.
• Sort and check deliveries; assist with stock ordering.
