You will manage projects from initiation through to implementation and benefits realisation, ensuring delivery on objectives, timescales, budgets and quality standards.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and closely engage clinical, operational and corporate stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Significant project management experience in healthcare.

  • Experience with governance, risk and benefits realisation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the delivery of multiple projects and workstreams, ensuring achievement of agreed objectives and benefits.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, reporting frameworks, risk registers and governance documentation.
  • Monitor project performance, identifying risks, issues and dependencies and implementing appropriate mitigating actions.
  • Prepare high-quality reports, presentations and business cases for senior management and governance forums.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement, workshops and meetings to ensure effective collaboration and delivery.
  • Support the management of project budgets, resources and timelines.
  • Ensure robust governance arrangements are in place and projects comply with organisational policies and standards.
  • Promote continuous improvement and the adoption of project management best practice across the organisation.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, monitoring progress against milestones, and supporting the management of dependencies and risks.
  • Contribute to programme planning, continuous improvement and development of project management best practice.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Delivery Manager to lead the successful delivery of strategic projects and transformation programmes across the organisation. The post holder will be responsible for managing projects from initiation through to implementation and benefits realisation, ensuring delivery to agreed objectives, timescales, budgets and quality standards. Working closely with clinical, operational and corporate stakeholders, you will provide project leadership, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and support the delivery of organisational priorities. You will oversee project planning, governance, risk and issue management, performance reporting and assurance processes, ensuring that projects remain on track and deliver measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for developing and maintaining project documentation, monitoring progress against milestones, preparing reports for senior leadership and governance groups, and supporting the management of project dependencies and risks.
  • As a key member of the team, you will contribute to programme planning, continuous improvement and the development of project management best practice.
  • You will work independently, managing a portfolio of projects and providing expert project management advice and support to colleagues and senior stakeholders.
