Job summary

Sheffield Health Partnership University NHS Foundation is seeking a Digital Project Manager to lead a range of complex technical projects from initiation to delivery within the Digital department. You will develop comprehensive plans, manage budgets and resources, and coordinate both technical and non-technical colleagues to meet project goals and drive benefits realisation.

  • Produce and maintain project documentation, including plans, deliverables, risk and issue registers, highlight reports, escalation reports, requirements and benefits realisation documentation
  • Contribute to the improvement of project management practices and processes

Job description

The Digital Project Manager will join a team of Project Managers within the Digital department focused on delivery of digital products that improve care and the capabilities of the Trust. The Digital Project Manager will lead and manage a range of complex technical projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high-quality standard. They will develop and maintain project plans, including detailed schedules, budgets, and resource plans, and work with stakeholders to define project requirements and scope. The Digital Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, including both technical and non-technical staff, to achieve project goals and manage project budgets and resource allocation, providing regular reports on project progress and financial performance. This role is part of a newly created team and the Digital Project Manager will have the opportunity to contribute to the improvement of project management practices and processes. With digital solutions as a key component of the NHS 10-year plan, it is essential to embed 'digital-first' thinking throughout the Trust. The Digital Project Manager will bring clinical and corporate colleagues on the digital journey. They will need to be confident in building and maintaining positive working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels of the organisation. \"Interviews will be conducted Face to Face at our site on Wardsend Road in Sheffield.
