Job summary

West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of strategic projects and transformation programmes across the organisation. You will manage projects from initiation through to implementation and benefits realisation, ensuring delivery to agreed objectives, timescales, budgets and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• CCAB qualified accountant and/or CIMA qualified.
• Proven experience in leading delivery of projects and transformation programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the delivery of multiple projects and workstreams, ensuring achievement of objectives and benefits.
• Develop and maintain project plans, reporting frameworks, risk registers and governance documentation.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks and dependencies, and implement mitigating actions.
• Prepare high-quality reports, presentations and business cases for senior management and governance forums.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement, workshops and meetings to ensure effective collaboration and delivery.
• Support management of project budgets, resources and timelines.
• Ensure governance arrangements are in place and projects comply with policies and standards.
• Promote continuous improvement and adoption of project management best practice.
