Assist ConsultantRadiologists and Consultant Radiographers with all aspect of patientpreparation and care during breast clinics.
Provide assistance tothe clinician during interventional breast procedures, providing reassurance,empathy and emotional support to patients undergoing such procedures.
Assist in the provisionof high quality patient care for all patients attending the department. Worksdirectly with the Clinical Nurse Specialist, providing assistance and supportas required.
Assist the Consultant Radiologists /Radiographer(s) in the care of patients attending the Symptomatic UltrasoundClinic, providing the patient with physical and physiological support duringthe procedure.
Prepare the surgical trolley for breastbiopsies. Ensure adequate provision of needle packs, consumables etc.
