Job summary

Wenzel’s the Bakers Wembley is seeking a Shop Supervisor to lead a busy team and uphold our standards of fresh, high-quality food and excellent customer service. You will work closely with the Store Manager to run daily operations and deliver a great shopper experience.

The role demands supervisory retail experience, rostering, and a focus on hygiene, food safety and cost control. Competitive pay and a supportive progression environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service at supervisory level is required.
• Ability to lead a small team and drive sales while maintaining standards.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and customer service best practices.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create an inviting experience.
• Receive and check daily deliveries.
• Assist with branch stock and maintain displays.
• Ensure high standards of hygiene and food safety.
• Lead shifts, manage rosters and drive sales.
• Cash handling and till operation.
• Open/close shop as required and supervise staff.
