Job summary

Wenzel’s the Bakers is seeking a Shop Supervisor to lead a small team, prepare fresh ingredients, and deliver excellent customer service in our Greater London shops. You’ll help manage daily operations, drive sales, and uphold quality standards while training staff to company guidelines.

The role offers £13.00 per hour for a 25-hour week across 3 days, with flexible working where possible. Experience in retail or customer service at supervisory level is required; food production experience is a

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or customer service environment at supervisory level is required.
• Experience working in food production would be advantageous but not essential as full ongoing training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create an inviting experience.
• Receive and check daily deliveries.
• Assisting with the management of branch stock and produce.
• Maintaining shop displays.
• Have excellent knowledge and understanding of products.
• Preparation of food in line with the specification.
• Food and produce quality control.
• Maintaining the highest level of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards.
• The ability to work efficiently within a team.
• Cash handling, and till operation.
• Opening or closing the shop when required.
• Running shifts at various times during the week
• Driving sales and minimising wastage.
