Cornish Bakery in Newquay is seeking an experienced Bakery Manager to lead a team in delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced bakery environment.

You will coach staff, manage costs and drive sales targets while upholding high food quality and safety standards. This role requires a proactive leader who thrives under pressure and keeps customers at the heart of all decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in a management or supervisory role within hospitality, food service, retail, café, bakery or restaurant environments.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
• Strong focus on delivering excellent customer service.
• Experience managing sales targets, budgets and KPIs.
• Food preparation and service experience.

Proven track record of managing teams, delivering excellent customer service, meeting sales and KPI targets, and maintaining high food quality and safety standards. What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within hospitality, food service, retail, café, bakery, or restaurant environments.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing teams.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Experience managing sales targets, budgets, and KPIs.
• Food preparation and food service experience.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, food safety, and quality standards.
• Experience in staff training and coaching.
• Ability to manage stock, wastage, and controllable costs.
• Experience working in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
