Job summary

Cornish Bakery is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager in the United Kingdom. You will lead shifts, coach staff and ensure exceptional customer service while maintaining high food quality and safety standards. The role focuses on driving sales and building a strong team culture within a local community bakery.

You will be supported with training and development through our Rise and Shine Programme, working in a fast-paced environment that values engagement, accountability and positive energy.

Proven track record of managing teams, delivering excellent customer service, meeting sales and KPI targets, and maintaining high food quality and safety standards. As an Assistant Bakery Manager, you will:

• Leadership or supervisory experience in food service, hospitality, retail or another customer-facing environment
• A proven ability to motivate a team and deliver excellent customer service
• Commercial awareness and confidence working towards sales and KPI targets
• A strong commitment to food quality, safety and operational standards
• A positive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach
• The confidence to make decisions, take ownership and lead by example
