Job summary

Martek Marine Limited, Adwick Park, Rotherham S63 5AB, is seeking a confident B2B telesales professional to join our outbound sales team and help generate new business opportunities through prospect research and appointment setting.

You will be dialing target businesses, speaking with decision makers and gatekeepers, and building a qualified pipeline to support the sales team. Based in Rotherham, you’ll thrive on the phone and hit activity targets.

Qualifications

• 12 months+ of B2B telephone sales, telesales, telemarketing or lead generation experience.
• Proven ability to make outbound calls and qualify opportunities.
• Experience booking appointments for a sales team.
• Comfort with CRM systems, spreadsheets and LinkedIn research.
• Persistent, organised and target-driven with good listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to businesses and speak with decision makers and gatekeepers.
• Use a call plan to qualify questions and identify opportunities.
• Book appointments and follow-up calls for the sales lead.
• Research target companies and build prospect lists using LinkedIn and sources.
• Keep CRM and call records accurate and up to date.
• Support the wider team with market feedback and insights.
