Job summary

Orion Electrotech in Birmingham is seeking a Sales Executive to manage customer accounts from our central Birmingham facility. The role combines account management with collaboration with production to meet delivery schedules, and developing new business through marketing, outreach and visits.

You will quote opportunities, build strong relationships across sectors such as gas, electrical, pneumatic and HVAC, and drive revenue while ensuring quality and on-time delivery. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Sales Executive or in a similar sales role.
• Excellent negotiator with strong relationship-building skills.
• Ideally apprentice trained with engineering qualification and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer accounts through direct contact and coordinate with production to meet delivery schedules.
• Generate new business through marketing, email, cold calling and customer visits.
• Quote opportunities and develop supply chain contracts with a focus on on-time delivery and quality.
