Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking an Internal Sales Executive for an established engineering services business. You will manage an existing client base, nurture relationships and generate repeat business.

You don't need engineering industry experience but must be confident with IT systems, CRM, and keeping accurate sales records. Salary ranges from £32,000 to £35,000 per year with potential commissions as the desk grows.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales, ideally in internal sales or account management.
• Strong IT skills and confidence using CRM systems, databases and sales software.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Proactive approach to account management and generating repeat business.

Responsibilities

• Managing and developing an existing database of B2B clients.
• Building strong relationships with industrial clients, manufacturers and large retailers.
• Generating repeat business and identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.
• Selling engineering services, service and maintenance contracts, and new installation contracts.
• Engaging with key decision-makers, including Maintenance Managers, Production Managers, Engineering Managers and Health & Safety Officers.
• Identifying customer requirements and matching them with appropriate engineering solutions.
• Maintaining accurate sales records, updating CRM systems and managing customer databases.
• Following up on enquiries, quotations and prospective sales opportunities.
• Proactively contacting existing customers to maximise sales opportunities.
• Working towards building a successful sales desk with commission potential.
