Job summary

Perfect Placement is seeking a motivated Fleet Vehicle Sales Executive in Basingstoke to drive new business and grow sales of cars and commercial vehicles.

You will build long-term relationships with local SMEs, manage quotations via contract hire, PCP, and finance lease, and work a Monday to Friday schedule with no weekends.

This role offers a competitive £25,000 basic with an OTE of £50,000, a supportive team, and clear career progression within a busy dealership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive sales, especially B2B or key account roles.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to generate new business and build long-lasting client relationships.
• Highly organised with multitasking and time management skills.
• Proficient in order management systems and sales software.
• Valid UK driving licence is essential.
• Knowledge of vehicle finance processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Engage with local SMEs, offering tailored vehicle solutions and building relationships.
• Prospect new opportunities via site visits, meetings and market research.
• Handle quotations using contract hire, PCP, and finance lease options.
• Manage full sales cycle from quotation to delivery.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to identify new sales opportunities.
• Maintain product knowledge and communicate features to clients.
• Keep accurate records in order management systems.
• Adhere to service levels and company policies.
