Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Account Manager in Higher Education to drive AWS adoption across Scottish universities and colleges, engaging senior stakeholders including Vice-Chancellors and CIOs, and collaborating with developers and IT architects to promote value.

The role includes developing territory plans, managing complex sales cycles, and building a robust partner-enabled pipeline to improve student outcomes and research capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience building strategic relationships with stakeholders across teams and functions.
• Experience managing sales pipelines using CRM tools like Salesforce.
• 3-5 years in account management, sales, or business development within the Higher Education sector.
• Proven track record of working with universities, colleges or FE institutions and navigating multi-stakeholder procurement.

Responsibilities

• Promote AWS services in Higher Education within Scotland.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan.
• Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
• Facilitate customer adoption and maintain a robust projects pipeline.
• Work with partners to extend reach and promote adoption.
