Job summary

Wheels Up is seeking an Operations Controller for our Gatwick office to manage the flying programme and maintain punctual schedules across the Aurigny Air Services network. You will coordinate crew rosters, monitor flight plans, liaise with handling agents, and generate reports under the Duty Manager.

The role requires 12-hour shifts, strong organisation, and experience in airline operations. The position offers a competitive £31,000 base salary with benefits and a focus on work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Commercial awareness with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating pattern.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Well-organised, proactive, able to meet deadlines and make decisions.
• Experience in OCC role or with airlines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Roster crew for all flights.
• Ensure the FTL scheme is adhered to.
• Maintain a flight watch to keep flights on time.
• Liaise with handling agents and update the daily schedule.
• Monitor flight plans and airport slots across the network.
• Produce reports for management as required.
• Input and update spreadsheets relevant to flight safety.
• Monitor weather and NOTAMs for destinations.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and manage high workload.
