Job summary

AVI-SPL Limited is seeking a Cover Technician to provide AV and VC support across client campus sites, backfilling for sickness and holidays. You will set up, operate and maintain AV/VC equipment and assist end users with issues in fast-paced environments.

Work may involve small event setups or large auditorium installations; travel between locations is required. You will join a small team or work independently, delivering high-quality service and ensuring client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience operating videoconference hardware (Cisco, Webex, Poly) and resolving AV/VC issues.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Organised, reliable with excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide AV/VC support on client sites and backfill for sickness/holiday.
• Set up, operate and maintain AV/VC equipment and assist end users.
• Assist with event setups including PA, projection, and room control systems.
• Travel between client locations as required.
