Job summary

Wayve is seeking a Solution Architect for London-based, full-time employment, with a hybrid working model. You’ll bridge Wayve’s AI Driver with vehicle systems, defining interfaces to sensors, ECUs and middleware while ensuring safety, timing and data logging.

You’ll collaborate across product, software, hardware, safety, validation and field applications to deliver scalable, integrated solutions for OEMs and Tier 1 partners, managing risks and open architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience working with automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers is a plus.
• Knowledge of generative AI, large language models and transformer architectures is helpful.
• Hands-on experience with embedded Linux, QNX, Adaptive AUTOSAR, DDS, SOME/IP or custom automotive middleware.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage the technical architecture for customer vehicle integrations, focusing on interfaces between Wayve software and OEM/Tier 1 systems.
• Translate product requirements and customer program needs into clear, actionable technical specifications.
• Turn ambiguous customer discussions into explicit ownership boundaries, interface contracts, assumptions and decisions.
• Coordinate with Validation Engineers to define integration test requirements and ensure verifiable requirements.
• Represent Wayve in OEM and Tier 1 discussions, aligning internal and external teams on architecture and risks.
