Job summary

Wayve is building the leading AI platform for autonomous driving, with offices in London and across the globe. This role focuses on high‑performance C++/Python software that interfaces self‑driving models with vehicle and embedded systems.

You will own reliability and performance of core systems, develop testing infrastructure, and collaborate with teams in London, Israel, and the US to enable frequent releases in a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• Exceptional C++ proficiency with a track record of writing performance‑sensitive, production‑quality code.
• Strong Python skills for tooling, integration, and test infrastructure.
• Solid Linux experience, development, debugging, and operation in Linux environments.
• Embedded systems familiarity, interfacing software with hardware or vehicle systems.
• Automotive experience is a strong plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain core C++/Python software components interfacing autonomy models with vehicle and embedded systems.
• Develop infrastructure to communicate with, run, and test self‑driving capabilities separate from ML model development.
• Own reliability and performance of key systems across Linux environments; build tooling for testing and validation.
• Collaborate with the wider org across London, Israel, and the US to integrate changes and support releases.
• Specialise in localisation/navigation/mapping, filtering/diagnostics, or control/inference as applicable.
