Job summary

Leaders in Care is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a nursing home and drive high-quality resident care while delivering strong commercial performance. You will own standards, occupancy and team culture, with autonomy and the backing of an established provider.

You will be responsible for regulatory compliance, staffing, budgets and ensuring a safe, compassionate service with robust governance and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Experienced Registered Manager in nursing home or elderly care setting.
• Strong understanding of CQC requirements, safeguarding, medication management and governance.
• Hands-on leadership style with ability to hold people to account.
• Strong communication skills with residents, families, colleagues and external professionals.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining regulatory compliance and delivering a high-quality service.
• Leading, coaching and retaining a strong care and clinical team.
• Ensuring safe staffing, effective rota management and robust clinical governance.
• Managing occupancy, referrals, budgets and operational performance.
• Building positive relationships with residents, families, professionals and the local community.
• Identifying issues early and taking practical action to improve standards.
• Creating a respectful, accountable and positive workplace culture.
