Job summary

Anchor's Wetherby Manor is seeking a Registered Home Manager to lead a 75-bed care home including a dedicated nursing unit. You will oversee quality, culture and performance with national support behind you.

As Registered Home Manager, you will champion outstanding care, ensure regulatory compliance and drive occupancy and budgets, while empowering a strong care team to deliver person-centred services to older residents.

Qualifications

• Current NMC PIN with experience leading nursing services in a care home setting.
• Track record of achieving Good or Outstanding CQC outcomes.
• Commitment to outstanding care and improving lives of older people.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, Mental Capacity Act and wider regulatory requirements.
• Ability to inspire, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• Proactive approach to quality improvement, problem solving and delivering positive outcomes.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills, with confidence to collaborate with residents, families, professionals, and colleagues.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).

Responsibilities

• Lead person-centred care, upholding dignity and choices of residents with consistently high-quality outcomes.
• Oversee the nursing unit, ensure safe, effective care and regulatory compliance.
• Own compliance, audits, inspections and QA activities to maintain high standards.
• Manage occupancy and budgets, driving overall service success and community reputation.
• Recruit, develop and inspire a high-performing team, building a positive culture.
