Job summary

1four1 Recruitment Ltd, recruiting on behalf of a Romford care home, seeks an experienced Registered Home Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure high-quality, person-centred care. You will lead staff, ensure regulatory compliance and foster a supportive environment for residents and team members.

The role requires a proven track record in CQC-regulated settings, a Level 5 Leadership qualification, and a passion for delivering compassionate care within a values-led multi-site group.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a CQC-regulated care or nursing home.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or working towards an equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and relevant legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the staff team, including recruitment, supervision and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and relevant health and social care legislation.
• Drive continuous improvement in care quality, safety and service delivery.
• Manage budgets, occupancy and resources effectively.
• Oversee care planning, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, commissioners and external professionals.
• Lead audits, inspections and quality assurance processes.
• Promote a compassionate, supportive and person-centred culture throughout the home.
