Leaders In Care are representing a client seeking an experienced Residential Home Manager to lead a well-established care home in North Yorkshire.

This role requires visible leadership, strong knowledge of CQC regulations, and the ability to drive quality, occupancy and financial performance while maintaining compassionate, person-centred care.

The successful candidate will manage budgets, recruit and develop staff, ensure safety, and uphold high standards in a supportive, family-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a care home and improving service quality.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and adult social care rules.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, staffing and resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible, supportive leadership across the home.
• Maintain high standards of care, dignity and safeguarding.
• Ensure compliance with CQC and legislation.
• Lead audits, inspections and quality improvement.
• Oversee care planning, risk assessments and record-keeping.
• Recruit, develop and retain a motivated team.
• Manage staffing levels and rotas effectively.
• Build relationships with residents, relatives and professionals.
• Handle incidents, complaints and safeguarding appropriately.
• Monitor budgets, occupancy and financial performance.
• Maintain a welcoming environment for residents and staff.
