Job summary

Experis is recruiting Field Support Engineers to service a nationwide technology deployment across the UK. You will visit retail stores, perform health checks, replace hardware, and escalate complex issues to the support team.

Travel between locations is expected, with roughly three stores per day. The role requires prior field-based IT support experience, basic networking skills, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing field-based role.
• Basic IT, networking, and hardware troubleshooting skills.
• The ability to follow structured processes and checklists.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Williness to travel throughout assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled visits to retail stores within your designated region.
• Perform basic hardware, equipment, and connectivity checks.
• Verify installed routers and associated networking equipment.
• Check body-worn camera devices, charging docks, and batteries.
• Replace faulty equipment where required.
• Fit protective accessories and carry out hardware swaps.
• Record asset information, serial numbers, and site data accurately.
• Collect and return surplus or replaced equipment.
• Complete digital reports and service documentation.
• Escalate technical issues that fall outside of documented processes.
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach when interacting with store staff.
