Job summary

Renault Retail Group UK is seeking an IT Support Engineer (Field Based) to join our UK IT team. The role covers London, Home Counties and wider UK network, requiring travel between dealership locations and occasional trips to regional sites.

You will provide on-site and remote IT support, install and maintain desktops, laptops, telephony, and network devices, while driving local IT projects and collaborating with international teams. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft 365 and Windows knowledge.
• Experience with end-user devices and IT deployments.
• Understanding of networking concepts (VPN, LAN, Wi‑Fi, routers/switches).
• Experience working with suppliers or project teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support across multiple dealerships and remote helpdesk support.
• Install, configure and support desktops, laptops, telephony, printers and POS devices.
• Manage 1st–3rd line incidents across sites and functions.
• Lead IT projects and coordinate with international teams and suppliers.
• Maintain documentation, asset registers and support procedures.
• Perform system maintenance, health checks and continuous improvement tasks.
