Job summary

Sytner Sheffield is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to lead the busy aftersales workshop. You will drive performance, develop technicians, and ensure high standards of quality and customer care in a fast-paced environment.

Working with the Service Manager, you will optimise workshop loading, monitor productivity, and manage health and safety, while maintaining profitability and strong customer relations within a franchised automotive network.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people-management skills
• Proven track record in automotive workshop leadership
• Ability to develop technicians and improve productivity
• Customer-focused with excellent communication
• Knowledge of health & safety compliance in a workshop

Responsibilities

• Lead daily workshop operations to maximise efficiency and profitability
• Coach, mentor and develop technicians for performance improvement
• Ensure repairs and maintenance meet quality standards and first-time-right targets
• Support productivity monitoring, planning and resource allocation
• Maintain a safe, compliant workshop environment and adherence to policies
