Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking a Vehicle Service Manager in Gloucester to lead a committed team and optimise workshop operations. You will supervise 4 Vehicle Technicians, 2 Service Advisors, and 2 Apprentices, ensuring high-quality service and productivity across the site.

Ideal candidates will have proven service/aftersales leadership within a franchise dealership, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to drive customer satisfaction while managing workload and performance

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service or Aftersales Manager or Supervisor within a small to medium franchise-approved car dealership.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• IT literacy and familiarity with dealership management systems.
• A valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet targets.
• Resident within a reasonable commuting distance of Gloucester.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team comprising 4 Vehicle Technicians, 2 Service Advisors, and 2 Apprentices.
• Manage daily workshop operations to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
• Drive customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and support.
• Maximise utilisation of workshop facilities and optimise labour sales.
• Maintain workshop standards and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Support team development through training, motivation, and effective communication.
• Collaborate with management to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
