Job summary

Stratstone Audi in Manchester is seeking a Workshop Controller to bridge Service Reception and Parts, overseeing technicians’ time and warranty write-ups, and driving productivity across jobs.

You will work closely with the Service and Parts teams, ensuring high standards of customer experience, health and safety, and efficient workshop operations, with a generous holiday entitlement and pension behind you.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a service department in the motor industry.
• Excellent understanding of systems and processes operated within this environment.
• Strong knowledge of Health and Safety.
• Confident with dealing with people at all levels, able to build immediate rapport.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Comfortable in negotiating and influencing situations.
• Lead by example to deliver an outstanding customer experience every time.

Responsibilities

• Accounting for and managing Technicians time when working on jobs.
• Ensuring Job Card write up compliance with regards to OEM Warranty Procedures.
• Managing and improving workshop productivity and efficiency by allocating the correct jobs to the correctly skilled technician.
• Identifying Technician Training Needs.
