Job summary

Halfords Autocentres is offering an Apprenticeship in vehicle technology. The role covers servicing, inspections and repairs, progressing to diagnosis and complex fault resolution with diagnostic equipment.

You will work 5 days a week with one day at college, totaling 40 hours per week for under 18 and 44 hours for over 18, with a broad range of vehicles to learn on. You will develop technical and diagnostic skills, learn workplace safety, and understand commercial workshop operations while

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above (Or Equivalents).
• Interest in cars and solving problems.
• Knowledge of motor vehicle maintenance.
• Enjoys working and fixing problems with cars.
• Knowledge of Microsoft packages.

Responsibilities

• Apprentice will learn to diagnose and repair vehicles using diagnostic methods and equipment.
• Work on a variety of tasks from servicing to complex faults while learning from mentors.
• Work independently and as part of a team within the Autocentre and College environment.
