Job summary

Tina Lacey Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an Automotive Skills Development Tutor / IQA to design, deliver and enhance training across funding streams. You will support learners to achieve outcomes by developing knowledge, skills, behaviours and attitudes.

The role is based at the Trafford Park Skills Centre, full time. Key duties include managing a learner caseload, designing curricula for practical and blended delivery, providing feedback and tracking progress against KPI targets, and

Qualifications

• At least five year’s vocational industry experience within the specialist subject area.
• Some experience in teaching, learning and assessment.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the specialist subject area and relevant professional qualifications.
• Experience of teaching and learning quality standards, particularly Ofsted requirements.
• Qualified, or working towards, a Diploma in Education and Training or an equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Account manages a learner caseload in line with KPI’s, and to support progression and securing repeat business.
• Plan and design face to face and blended digital sequential curriculum to promote attainment.
• Mark/feedback students’ work and provide structured actions for learners.
• Accurately track KSB progress and risk band timely progress against KPI measures.
• Undertake and log industrial and pedological continuing professional development.
• Ensure risk assessments are in place and reviewed annually so learners are safe.
• Support the team’s ongoing professional attainment through internal quality assurance activities.
